Role Overview
We are seeking a Social Media & Content Manager to develop and execute content strategies for both FMH and our clients. This role combines content creation, social media management, SEO blog writing, and performance tracking to drive engagement and generate leads. You will be the online voice for our foundation repair and waterproofing clients—ensuring brand consistency, managing day-to-day content schedules, and leveraging analytics to refine strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Content Creation & Management
Create 20+ high-quality social media posts per month per client, tailored for
Develop and maintain FMH’s social media presence alongside client accounts.
Write engaging captions, research relevant hashtags, and ensure brand-aligned visuals.
Schedule and publish posts using social media scheduling tools or CRM platforms.
Monitor comments, messages, and reviews, responding professionally in the client’s voice.
Track industry trends and viral opportunities to incorporate into content.
Blog & SEO Content Writing
Produce weekly SEO-optimized blog posts for FMH and our clients, focusing on foundation repair and waterproofing topics.
Conduct basic keyword research, apply on-page SEO best practices, and collaborate with the SEO team.
Manage editorial calendars, ensuring consistent and high-quality publication schedules.
Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring
Track metrics such as engagement, reach, and conversions across platforms.
Create data-driven reports, identifying content strengths and weaknesses.
Present insights and actionable recommendations to adjust future strategies.
Content Strategy & Growth
Research client industries and competitors to develop impactful content strategies.
Collaborate with the marketing team to refine brand messaging and positioning.
Stay up-to-date on social media algorithm changes, adjusting tactics to maximize reach.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2+ years in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
Proven ability to craft high-engagement social media posts and blog content.
Strong command of
Familiarity with content scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and CRM platforms.
Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for diverse audiences.
Basic SEO knowledge, including keyword research, meta descriptions, and on-page optimizations.
Strong analytical skills for tracking metrics, compiling performance reports, and making data-driven decisions.
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Professional communication skills, able to represent brands effectively.
Preferred (But Not Required)
Familiarity with home service industries (foundation repair, waterproofing, roofing, etc.).
Knowledge of paid social ads
Experience creating short-form videos or basic editing.
Exposure to marketing automation tools.
