Concept Artist Wanted for Indie Game Studio

About the Role:
Our indie game studio is seeking a talented and passionate Concept Artist to help shape the artistic vision of our latest project. This is a part-time, contract role requiring 10 hours of work per week. You’ll collaborate closely with the team to create compelling concepts for characters, environments, and props that bring our game to life.

Compensation:
The weekly rate for this role is 1,500 PHP for 10 hours of work per week.

About Us:
We’re a small but ambitious indie game studio, founded by two seasoned professionals with extensive experience in AAA game development. Together, we successfully launched our first game on Steam with the help of a small, dedicated team. Our mission is to create unique, engaging games while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where our team can thrive and grow.

What You’ll Do:
Develop concept art for characters, environments, props, and other assets to define the game’s visual style.
Work closely with the team to iterate on designs and ensure they align with the game’s vision.
Provide visual references for the 3D art team to guide production.
Collaborate to explore creative ideas and ensure a cohesive art direction.

What We’re Looking For:
Strong skills in digital painting and concept art design (required).
A creative and adaptable approach to designing both characters and environments.
A passion for storytelling through visual design.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team.
Bonus: Familiarity with game development workflows, especially Unreal Engine pipelines.
