Job Title: Community and Social Media Manager

Work Hours: 9 AM – 5 PM EST (Certain events may require flexibility, with occasional shifts between 6 PM - 10 PM EST)

Location: Remote, requiring a dedicated workspace, reliable internet, and the necessary tools to fulfill job responsibilities efficiently.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Community and Social Media Manager to lead our digital engagement efforts, manage virtual events, and enhance brand visibility. This role involves planning, executing, and optimizing social media strategies while managing community interactions, webinars, and podcasts.



Key Responsibilities

*Virtual Events:

Plan, coordinate, and execute virtual events, webinars, and live sessions.

Manage event registration, tech setup (Zoom, StreamYard, etc.), and post-event follow-ups.

Collaborate with speakers, panelists, and partners to ensure seamless execution.

*Podcast Management:

Oversee podcast production, scheduling, and publishing.

Coordinate with guests, handle recordings, and ensure high-quality audio/video.

Manage podcast promotion and repurpose content for social media.

*Newsletter Management:

Plan, write, and manage engaging newsletters to keep our audience informed and connected.

Monitor newsletter performance (open rates, click-throughs) and optimize content for engagement.

*Website Management:

Maintain and update website content, blog posts, and event pages.

Optimize site performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance user experience.

*Social Media & Community Engagement:

Develop and implement social media strategies to drive engagement and audience growth.

Manage and interact with online communities, responding to comments and inquiries.

Create and schedule engaging posts, videos, and live sessions.

*Outreach & Growth:

Build partnerships with other business leaders and potential collaborators.

Develop email marketing and outreach campaigns to grow the community.

Monitor analytics to track engagement and optimize strategies.



Must-Have Tools & Skills

Proficiency in Streamyard and Zoom for webinar hosting and coordination.

Experience with podcasting, including scheduling, guest management, and editing.

Strong video editing skills for reels and social media content.

Knowledge of social media platforms and best engagement practices.

Experience in lead generation through digital marketing and community engagement.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks.
