We are seeking a passionate and skilled Community Manager to oversee multiple online communities. If you thrive in fostering engagement, building relationships, and creating a positive experience for community members, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate weekly with community owners to brainstorm and plan engaging posts, discussions, and activities to inspire interaction. As well as to address member feedback, moderator concerns, and brainstorm fresh engagement ideas.
- Communicate daily with customer support to flag questions, issues, or concerns that need escalation and resolution.
- Post daily conversation starters, polls, or questions to encourage member participation and connection.
- Build and manage a team of community moderators (from within the communities) to assist with answering questions, reviewing content, welcoming new members, and maintaining community standards.
- Supervise and motivate the moderator team, ensuring they fulfill their roles effectively and consistently.
- Organize and co-host a monthly “Moderators Only” AMA (Ask Me Anything) session. You’ll take the lead in hosting while an expert manages the AMA.
- Create and manage secret discount codes for community moderators as a token of appreciation for their efforts.
- Coordinate and send monthly gifts to active moderators to recognize their contributions and show appreciation.
- Continuously strategize and implement ways to boost member participation and create a thriving community culture.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Proven track record in community management and moderation.
- Communication: Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Platform Knowledge: Experience with Mighty Networks is a plus, but not required. We’ll teach you everything you need to know!
