Children's Science & Sci-Fi Writing

- Must have a passion for writing and storytelling, with a focus on creating children's science books, children's poems, and science fiction suspenseful stories.
- Initial meetings are required to align on writing direction and style; afterwards, you’re free to work on your own schedule.
- Basic writing skills and a willingness to learn creative storytelling are essential (we’ll teach you how to write effectively).

To Apply

1. Provide samples of your previous writing (this can include children’s literature, science writing, poetry, or sci-fi stories).
2. Answer the following 6 questions in your own words, in simple terms:
- What is biopunk?
- What is bioelectricity?
- Who is Michael Levin (the bioelectricity guy)?
- What is the freedom of embodiment?
- What is the anatomical compiler?
- What is biohacking?
3. Describe your favorite writing style or storytelling method and why you enjoy writing.
4. Confirm your willingness to learn and improve your writing skills—even if you think you’re not that good, apply anyway, because anyone can learn if they are interested.
5. Must speak and understand English well enough to participate effectively in meetings and creative discussions.
