Role Overview:
The COO will report directly to the CEO and act as a strategic partner to drive operational excellence. This role is crucial for building and managing the systems, processes, and teams that will allow Mission Driven Coaches to achieve its growth objectives. The COO will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure efficient execution of strategies, and cultivate a high-performance culture within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Partner with the CEO to develop and execute long-term strategic plans aligned with the company’s mission and vision.
Translate company goals into actionable operational strategies and KPIs.
Drive innovation and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Operational Management
Oversee all operational aspects, including sales, marketing, customer success, finance, and HR.
Develop and implement scalable systems, processes, and policies for growth.
Monitor company performance through analytics and reporting dashboards.
Team Building & Leadership
Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Develop hiring plans to support the growth of the business and attract top talent.
Cultivate a results-oriented and purpose-driven company culture.
Financial Oversight
Collaborate with the CEO and finance team to manage budgets and financial forecasting.
Ensure revenue and profitability targets are met or exceeded.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Customer Journey Optimization
Oversee customer success processes to ensure exceptional client experiences.
Streamline onboarding, engagement, and retention strategies for coaches and clients.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in coaching, consulting, or mission-driven businesses.
Operational Expertise: Proven track record in scaling businesses, implementing systems, and managing cross-functional teams.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to create and execute effective business strategies aligned with company goals.
Leadership Skills: Inspirational and empowering leader with excellent people management abilities.
Analytical Mindset: Strong proficiency in data-driven decision-making, with experience using CRM and project management tools (e.g.,
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: A passion for personal development and mission-driven work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework.
Familiarity with the coaching industry, including trends and best practices.
Strong understanding of digital marketing and client acquisition strategies.
