CAD Drafter - Electrical Engineering - (WFH)

The successful candidate will have the dream job working for one of the world's most exciting electrical and battery device companies with offices in Australia and America.

This is a WFH role, full-time with a full employment package.

The right candidate ill also have existing experience OR interest to become a future leader as this role will also have 5 hours per week for people management/managing meetings with a team of 3 Philippines-based staff. You will also receive a leadership development plan and mentoring.

Your day to day duties are:

CAD Drafter


- Support electrical engineers with developing designs and drawings for BESS-engineered products.
- Prepare detailed concept design drawings.
- Prepare detailed design drawings for production and as-builts.
- 2D/3D Panel Layouts / General arrangements.
- Wiring diagrams, SLD and schematics.
- Advanced skills with AutoCAD 2D/3D for electrical and mechanical drafting.
- Knowledge of Sketchup for 3D modelling is very important.
- Ability to understand basic electrical engineering concepts, understanding of both AC and DC circuits, attention to detail, English language proficiency and good communication skills are essential.
- He/she will work closely with electrical engineers within the product and project teams to draft electrical schematics, networking diagrams etc.
- Knowledge of AS1102 will help but is not essential.
