Job Title: Business Operations Manager – Valet Trash of Kansas City

Position Overview:
As the Business Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the core operational activities of Valet Trash of Kansas City. You will be responsible for invoicing, customer management, route coordination, business operations, and ensuring that all company documents are properly organized and up-to-date. Additionally, you will manage marketing efforts, ensuring the business runs efficiently while providing excellent service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Invoicing & Payment Management:
• Prepare and send monthly invoices to customers for valet trash, dumpster rentals, and junk removal services.
• Track, confirm, and follow up on payments, ensuring all accounts are current and accurate.
• Resolve any billing discrepancies and work with customers to address payment concerns promptly.
• Customer Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
• Manage customer relationships by maintaining accurate records of their services and preferences.
• Address customer complaints or issues and ensure timely resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Route & Operations Management:
• Coordinate and manage customer routes for trash collection and junk removal to optimize efficiency.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure on-time services and maintain optimal workflow.
• Identify areas for improvement in route management and service delivery, implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Business Operations Oversight:
• Oversee day-to-day business activities, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Implement and monitor policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with the management team to identify operational challenges and develop solutions.
• Advertising & Marketing:
• Develop and execute advertising campaigns to promote our services, including valet trash collection, dumpster rentals, and junk removal.
• Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and maintain a consistent brand image across various platforms.
• Focus on customer acquisition and retention by creating effective strategies to engage the local community.
• Document & Compliance Management:
• Ensure that all business documents, including contracts, customer agreements, invoices, and compliance paperwork, are properly maintained and up to date.
• Stay current with local regulations regarding waste management and ensure the company is compliant with all relevant policies.
• Organizational Support:
• Organize and prioritize daily business operations tasks to meet deadlines and business goals.
• Support the senior leadership team with administrative duties and operational planning as needed.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in business operations management, preferably in a service-based industry (waste management, customer service, etc.).
• Strong understanding of invoicing, payment processing, and financial management.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
• Experience with route management and optimization.
• Ability to create and manage advertising campaigns and promotional strategies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
• Previous experience in managing customer relations, service contracts, and compliance documentation is a plus.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in the waste management, garbage collection, or junk removal industry.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Experience in marketing or advertising, with a focus on local businesses.

Working Conditions:
• Full-time, on-site position, with standard office hours.
• Flexibility may be required to support operations during peak service periods or special events.
