The Role
At Small Lot Wine & Spirits, data should empower decision-making, foster innovation, and drive sustainable growth. As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will transform raw information into meaningful insights, enabling our team to understand trends, identify opportunities, and shape the future of our organization. Your work will ensure stakeholders have the clear, reliable, and actionable data they need to make confident decisions—every time.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be the go-to expert for crafting, refining, and delivering the metrics that matter most. You’ll work closely with teammates and stakeholders to ensure everyone has the insights they need—when needed.

Develop, update, and manage reports and dashboards in Looker Studio.

Utilize BigQuery to extract, transform, and store data for meaningful analysis.

Present data in clear, concise, and visually appealing formats, tailoring reports to the audience’s needs

Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness in all reporting efforts.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and confirm deliverables meet their expectations.

Respond promptly to ad-hoc report requests, maintaining a responsive and service-oriented approach.

Validate data accuracy, maintain reporting consistency across tools, and proactively identify and address discrepancies.

Working with teammates based in the U.S. and the Philippines

The Minimum Needed
A High School Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant work experience
Fundamental understanding of data analysis principles and data visualization best practices
Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

An Ideal Candidate
A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
Experience working with Looker Studio (Data Studio) and BigQuery
Familiarity with SQL and data modeling concepts
Experienced in writing CTE and/or Subqueries
Prior experience creating dashboards and reports for multiple stakeholders
A track record of quickly adapting to new tools, technologies, and data challenges
Understanding of ML and AI to enable the use of cutting-edge tools
