We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records and ensure all financial transactions are recorded. This role will play a critical part in streamlining financial processes, managing company budgets, and ensuring the organization’s cash flow is closely monitored. You will work closely with the finance and operations teams to achieve both short-term and long-term financial goals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
-Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
-Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
-Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
-Monitor all company budgets and financial performance metrics.
-Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
-Implement financial checks and balances to maintain accuracy and accountability.
-Perform total asset checks and balances on a weekly basis.
-Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to streamline and improve financial processes.
-Manage cash flow to ensure operational efficiency.
-Implement and manage the company’s financial scorecards as part of the performance monitoring process.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role.
-Strong proficiency in Quickbooks
-Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reporting tools).
-Excellent understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
-Strong organizational and time-management abilities to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-Experience implementing financial tracking scorecards or systems.
-Familiarity with local tax laws and payroll processes.
