JOB OVERVIEW

Dynamic Role in a Growing Company

I’m looking for a Virtual Assistant who can help me pay my taxes on time, manage personal/business finances, and keep track of all financial matters as my company expands. As the company grows, your role will expand to include payroll, cost management, and more advanced financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping & Accounting: Reconcile accounts, record transactions, and maintain up-to-date Profit & Loss statements.
- Budget & Cash Flow Management: Track daily expenses (personal & business), monitor budgets, and manage cash flow.
- Tax Support: Prepare monthly/quarterly tax estimates or reports and ensure timely filings.
- Financial Analysis: Assess spending habits, uncover cost-saving opportunities, and help forecast future financial needs.
- Future Growth: Eventually assist with payroll and more advanced financial tasks as the company scales.

Who You Are:
- Accounting/Bookkeeping Know-How: Experience with reconciling expenses, tracking income, and preparing P&Ls.
- A Quick Learner: Not afraid to ask “dumb” questions to get clarity; open to learning new finance tools and processes.
- Clear Communicator: Excellent written and spoken English; able to provide regular updates and ask for feedback.
- Reliable & Detail-Oriented: You honor confidentiality, meet deadlines, and consistently follow through on tasks.
- Adaptable: Comfortable working in a 7 AM–3 PM Pacific Time window (at least partial overlap each day).
- Tech-Savvy: Own a good computer with a stable internet connection so you can Zoom and chat
- understand spreadsheets and Quickbooks

Position Details:
- Salary: $165 USD per week.
- Hours: 7 AM – 3 PM Pacific Time, Monday to Friday (flexibility possible, but some overlap is required).
- Long-Term Opportunity: Potential to grow alongside the company as we expand.

How to Apply

Instead of sending a resume. Please carefully complete the steps below. If you skip any step or do it incorrectly, I won’t review your application.

1. Create a Google Sheet
- Go to Google Sheets and create a new spreadsheet.
- Title it: FINVA Application – [Your Full Name].

2. Add Your Responses
- In Column A, answer the following questions (each in its own cell):
A1: Briefly describe your experience with bookkeeping or accounting.
A2: What do you find most challenging about managing personal and business finances together?
A3: Imagine you have $10,000 revenue per month, $4,000 business expenses, $3,000 personal expenses, and $20,000 in savings. How many months of runway exist if income stops?
A4: Ask one question that will help you decide if you want to work with us.
- In Column B, use a formula to calculate the character count in the cell next to it in column A

3. Share Your Sheet
- Make sure the sheet is set to “Anyone with the link can view.”
- Copy the sharing link.

4. Submit Your Application
- Send me a message with the subject line:
FINVA #1 – [Your Full Name]
- In that same message, paste the link to your Google Sheet.

What Happens Next?
- I’ll review your Google Sheet to confirm you followed the instructions.
- If everything looks good, I’ll contact you for next steps (a quick video chat, possibly a small bookkeeping test, etc.).

If you’re detail-oriented, love learning, and want to grow the financial side of a business, you could be the perfect fit. Good luck, and please follow the steps exactly!
