Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts in QuickBooks Online, managing invoices and accounts receivable, and assisting with other financial tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Bank & Account Reconciliation
Reconcile business and client accounts in QuickBooks Online to ensure accuracy.
Review and categorize transactions properly.
Identify and resolve any discrepancies in financial records.
Accounts Receivable & Invoicing
Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
Track outstanding payments and follow up with clients on overdue accounts.
Maintain accurate records of all payments received and pending invoices.
Financial Reporting & Recordkeeping
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for internal use.
Maintain and organize all bookkeeping records in a secure, cloud-based system.
Assist in preparing financial data for tax filing and compliance.
Administrative & Accounting Support
Support the team with financial data entry and expense tracking.
Assist in preparing payroll reports if needed.
Work on other accounting-related projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience & Software Knowledge
2+ years of bookkeeping experience (preferred).
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required).
Familiarity with accounting principles and best practices.
Technical & Communication Skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential financial data with integrity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work Environment & Availability
Part-time, remote position (approximately 15-20 hours per week).
Availability to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
