Bookkeeper / Accountant

Melbourne, Australia based residential building company looking for a virtual Assistant. The successful applicant will complete day-to-day bookkeeping / accounting tasks to help our office run efficiently. You will work closely with the managers daily in a rewarding working environment, and your income will be based on your previous experience with the ability to grow with the company.

Bookkeeping / Accounting tasks
• Invoicing
• Purchase orders
• Bill orders
• Timesheets
• Payroll
• Data entry on excel
• Job back costing
• Hubdoc reconcile
• Xero projects allocating

Position requirements
• Proficient with MS office (EXCEL, word, teams, projects.)
• Xero software – Must be excellent
• Excel spreadsheets – must be excellent
• Hubdoc software – must be excellent
• Sending purchase orders
• Job tracking
• Speak very good English
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
• Applicant must have a positive attitude towards change
• Able to identify the need, remove the barriers
• Values diversity of ideas, opinions, and people
• Has good common sense and applied logic
