Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage daily collections activities and ensure timely invoice payments. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with customers while streamlining the collections process. The ideal candidate will be proactive, goal-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring minimal overdue balances.
Maintain accurate records and update customer accounts.
Utilize collection and job management programs to track invoices and communications.
Contact customers/vendors regarding overdue payments and gather necessary documentation.
Follow company collections procedures and document all steps.
Ensure a balance between efficiency and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Keep aging reports updated and apply credits or collections accordingly.
Notify the Accounts Receivable Manager of any issues or disputes.
Provide support to other accounts receivable tea
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum two years of business experience (collections experience preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone and
Excellent customer service, listening, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to learn new software.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Willing to work full-time (40 hours per week) following US time zones.
