Back-End Developer (FastAPI Focus)

We are looking for an experienced Back-End Developer to join our team and take ownership of building and optimizing the back-end for our Client Portal application. This platform processes tax forms, validates allocation data, and supports efficient document workflows. You’ll work on creating robust APIs, integrating document processing tools, and ensuring seamless communication between the front and back end.

Responsibilities

API Development:
• Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs using FastAPI.
• Integrate third-party tools like Azure Document Intelligence for document processing.
• Optimize API endpoints for performance and reliability.

Database Management:
• Develop and maintain schemas for PostgreSQL to handle structured data.
• Manage and store unstructured data, including JSON with polygon parameters, in MongoDB.
• Implement data validation, aggregation, and comparison workflows.

Requirements

• Proficiency in FastAPI or similar Python frameworks for building APIs.
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and relational database design.
• Experience with MongoDB for storing and managing unstructured data.
