Distinctive Roofing is a well-established roofing company known for exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding customer service. We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager & Customer Service professional to support our project management team and ensure seamless communication with clients throughout the roofing process. This role will be responsible for assisting with project coordination, client interactions, and administrative support.

>> Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will assist the Project Manager and the Assistant Project Manager in the coordination and execution of roofing projects while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and the capability to handle client inquiries effectively.

**Additionally, the ideal candidate should relieve our production team by taking ownership of tasks, applying critical thinking, understanding the bigger picture, communicate extremely well with the team and working independently without requiring step-by-step instructions or constant supervision.**

>> What You’ll Do:
- Assist the Project Manager with the day-to-day management of roofing projects, including scheduling, materials, and labor coordination.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress, answer inquiries, and resolve concerns.
- Onboard new clients, ensuring they have all necessary information and feel confident in the process.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Assist with estimating project costs and creating accurate budgets.
- Help maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, invoices, and job files.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by following up with clients before, during, and after the project.
- Track project milestones and communicate any delays or changes to the client and internal teams.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports and status updates.
- Assist in coordinating inspections, permits, and approvals as needed for project completion.
- Manage customer service inquiries, ensuring they are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Keep the CRM (Acculynx) fully up to date, ensuring all client information, project statuses, and communications are accurately recorded.

>> Who We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of experience in project management and customer service, ideally within the construction or roofing industry but not a requirement.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, any CRM and Outlook.
- Experience with estimating project costs and managing budgets (a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Roofing industry experience is a plus.
