Rate: $4.50/hr, and earn 45,000 PHP +/month
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST, with 30-min unpaid lunch and two
paid 15-min breaks.

Job Description:
This role is ideal for individuals with foundational application security experience who are ready to take on greater responsibilities and make impactful contributions to securing modern web applications.

Responsibilities:
As an Application Security Engineer (IC2), you will play a critical role in safeguarding applications by:
- Identify vulnerabilities in applications and systems.
- Improve development workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers to build secure solutions.
- Take ownership of moderately complex security tasks.
- Contribute to enhancing the company’s overall security posture.

Must Have Requirements:
Experience and Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in application security, software development, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of application security concepts, including OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, secure coding practices, and common attack vectors.
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as SAST, DAST, or dependency scanning solutions.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Go).

- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles, including integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, or ISO 27001.
