Job description
Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to collect, process, and store large datasets from various sources.
Develop data visualizations and identify patterns to communicate actionable metrics to stakeholders on strategic initiatives requiring analytics support.
Develop and manage dynamic dashboards and leaderboards.
Develop new data models to support analytics, Metabase dashboards, and self-serve tools.
Maintain existing data models to support reporting and analytics.
Create SQL queries & optimizing efficiency and execution of analytics data models.
Work closely with internal program and analytics staff around all evaluation and analysis activities.
Handle requests from internal requestors.
Communicate changes with external partners.
#Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, Talend).
Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other relevant languages.
Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and related services (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
