Job Overview:
The Amazon & Walmart Strategist is a pivotal role responsible for driving account growth and ensuring seamless execution of our PSM services. This individual will serve as the backbone of client accounts, developing customized strategies to align with each client’s goals and business needs. The Strategist will collaborate with internal teams to delegate tasks, track milestones, and ensure successful delivery of client objectives. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to client growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for Amazon and Walmart client accounts to drive growth.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of client accounts and listings to identify opportunities and provide data-backed recommendations.
- Create strategic plans that outline milestones, timelines, and key deliverables for achieving growth objectives.
Client Management & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategies and growth, ensuring clear and proactive communication with CEO and internal teams.
- Prepare and submit strategies, insights, and performance updates to the CEO, including milestone progress and growth achievements.
- Understand client business goals and tailor strategies to align with their unique objectives.
Internal Coordination & Delegation
- Collaborate with internal teams (SEO, PPC, Account Management, Creatives) to delegate tasks based on approved strategies.
- Ensure clear communication of objectives, timelines, and expectations to tea
- Monitor task progress and ensure deliverables align with the outlined strategic plan.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Continuously track account performance, sales data, and market trends to assess progress and identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and present quarterly account strategies, ensuring milestones and PSM deliverables are met.
- Suggest and implement promotional campaigns for key events or seasonal opportunities, tracking results and reporting performance insights.
Additional Duties
- Proactively identify new opportunities for client growth based on market trends and competitive analysis.
- Support leadership by providing insights, account updates, and strategy recommendations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience developing and executing growth strategies for Amazon and Walmart accounts.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an agency environment, with proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and shifting priorities.
Background:
- Experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Business Development Specialist, Brand Specialist, or Account Manager is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to review sales data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to pivot strategies when needed.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interactions and internal collaboration.
Technical Proficiency:
- Comfortable using tools such as Zoom, Slack, Asana, or comparable project management platforms.
Personal Traits:
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve results.
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of retail and eCommerce dynamics.
