We’re a fast-growing e-commerce company looking to expand our reach on Amazon and other online marketplaces. Our mission is to deliver high-quality products to customers while leveraging data-driven strategies to optimize sourcing, pricing, and inventory decisions. We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Amazon Sourcing Specialist / Data Analyst to join our team and help scale our marketplace operations.

Position Overview:
The Amazon Sourcing Specialist / Data Analyst is responsible for identifying profitable product opportunities, sourcing suppliers, managing cost analysis, and providing actionable insights from sales, inventory, and competitor data. This role combines procurement expertise with strong analytical skills to drive smart decision-making across our Amazon sales channel in addition to building and analyzing reports from other business segments or sales channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and identify profitable product opportunities for Amazon FBA/FBM
Source new suppliers, negotiate pricing, and manage vendor relationships
Monitor product trends, competitor pricing, and Amazon market data
Analyze sales performance, margins, and ad spend to improve ROI
Create and maintain detailed product sourcing sheets and dashboards
Optimize product listings in collaboration with the marketing and content teams
Track inventory levels and recommend restock quantities and timing
Stay up-to-date with Amazon policies, tools, and best practices

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in Amazon product sourcing or marketplace analysis
Strong analytical skills with Excel/Google Sheets; knowledge of SQL, Python, or BI tools is a plus
Familiarity with tools like Keepa, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar
Proven ability to assess product profitability, cost structures, and supplier performance
Strong organizational and communication skills
Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated
Experience with Amazon Seller Central, FBA, and listing optimization is preferred

Bonus Points For:

Experience working with overseas manufacturers (China, India, etc.)
Background in e-commerce operations, supply chain, or data analytics
Understanding of PPC and advertising metrics on Amazon
