JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary:*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Offshore Accountant to join our team for company based in US. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and US accounting practices. This role will support our US-based clients by ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with US accounting standards.

*Key Responsibilities:*
- *Bookkeeping:* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- *Bank Reconciliation:* Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure that cash amounts in the organization's accounting ledgers match the actual bank balance.
- *Financial Reporting:* Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- *Compliance:* Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP.
- *Audit Support:* Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- *Process Improvement:* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
- *Communication:* Collaborate with US-based clients and internal teams to address accounting-related inquiries and provide financial insights.

*Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and US accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

*Preferred Qualifications:*
- CPA or equivalent certification or Bachelors in Accounting with strong experience
- Experience working with offshore teams or in a remote work environment.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance in the US.
