Accountant experienced with UK Ltd Co's (Not a book keeper please : )

Are you the accountant Pro I'm looking for? Me a UK used car retailer, and you a experienced professional accountant, we're about to make the perfect team!

I have used car business based in the UK, we are forwarding thinking & fast moving. We've experienced big growth over the last 2 years & now need our accounting processes to change up to top gear. We are using Xero & Dext for daily transactions, as well as an internal system called Dragon 2000 for inventory, purchase & sales invoicing.

We have a UK accountant but I am looking to carry out VAT returns, prepare monthly profit & loss statements, monthly balance statements, assist in creating budgets, payroll & variance analysis internally. The current structure is 2 bookkeepers, you would also need to assist these team members on queries & ensure their work is accurate.

The role has fixed hours Mon-Fri (2hrs per day). Must be an experienced accountant with UK Ltd company experience.

1. How would you reconcile this transaction in a step by step process, Sale of a vehicle £10,000. Payment by customer £6000 via bank transfer, they've used their current car with a £8000 trade in value as part payment, but it has a finance settlement of £4000 outstanding.

2. How would you reconcile this transaction in a step by step process, Sale of a vehicle £8,000. Payment by customer £6000 via bank transfer, they've used their current car with a £2000 trade in value as part payment (there is no finance outstanding on their trade in car)
