Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant with 5+ years of full-service accounting experience to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing client transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing accurate financial statements. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of accounting systems & processes, the relationship between transactions and the general ledger, and how financial data impacts business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
?Transaction Management: Accurately record and categorize client transactions, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
?Account Reconciliation: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
?Financial Statement Preparation: Generate and review balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for clients.
?General Ledger Management: Ensure proper recording of transactions and maintain clean, organized financial records.
?Process Optimization: Identify and implement efficient accounting workflows and best practices.
?Client Communication: Collaborate with internal team to clarify transactions, answer accounting-related inquiries, and provide financial insights.
?Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all financial data complies with accounting standards and tax regulations.
?Software Proficiency: Work efficiently with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, along with Excel/Google Sheets for financial analysis.

Qualifications & Skills
?5+ years of full-service accounting experience, preferably with small to mid-sized businesses.
?Strong understanding of accounting systems, processes, and the relationship between transactions and the general ledger.
?Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and experience with financial reporting tools.
?Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and correct discrepancies.
?Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
?Great communicator – able to explain financial data clearly to teaUpgrade to see actual infombers.
?Self-motivated, able to work independently, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
?Ability to prioritize work efficiently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Preferred but Not Required
?Experience working with residential contractors or service-based businesses.
?Knowledge of tax compliance and financial advisory best practices.
?Experience using project management tools (e.g., ClickUp).
