AI Automation & Agent Builder – Slack + n8n + LLM Integrations

We’re a North American tech-enabled transportation company building smart internal AI agents to streamline operations and improve team efficiency.

We’re looking for a skilled AI automation and agent builder to help us create internal tools that handle real-time communication, automate workflows, and reduce manual effort using tools like:
• n8n (must-have)
• Slack
• Airtable / Google Sheets
• OpenAI, Anthropic, or other LLMs
• (Bonus: Pinecone, Whisper, ElevenLabs, or voice interfaces)

This is not a VA or basic automation role. We’re looking for someone who knows how to think through real business processes and build agents that feel like teammates, not just bots.



What You’ll Build:
• A Slack-connected AI agent that:
• Monitors threads for iUpgrade to see actual info reports
• Summarizes, classifies, and logs reports into Airtable or Sheets
• Replies in-thread, tags the right users or teams properly
• References past similar iUpgrade to see actual info
• Handles updates and follow-ups, and supports SLA tracking
• Optional: voice-based agents for automating routine communication


Tools You’ll Use:
• n8n (or Zapier/Make if relevant)
• Slack APIs (thread replies, mentions, reactions)
• OpenAI / Anthropic / other LLMs
• Airtable or Google Sheets (for structured data)
• Webhooks, APIs, prompt engineering, memory architecture


Working Hours & Expectations:
• Work hours: 8 AM – 5 PM Mountain Time (Canada)
• Must be online and available during those hours
• We work async, but real-time support during ops hours is essential
• This could be full-time or part-time depending on your skill and availability
