I have 10 years of experience in office-based accounting-related jobs at a medical supplies and equipment supplier. I am proficient in using MS Excel and SAP system. I also undergone Xero and Quickbooks online training and passed my Xero certification. I will be honest: I am new to a remote job, but in addition to my training, I gained knowledge by watching tutorials on YouTube and I’m constantly doing research to study.
I started my career handling Accounts Receivable, in which I maintained AR records to ensure that the aging was up to date, credit notes and collections were applied, uncollected accounts were accounted for, and miscellaneous differences were addressed. I was also assigned to Accounts Payables, where I performed day-to-day full accounts payable cycle transactions. I have 7 years of experience in accounts payable policies, procedures, and regulations. I have experience in assisting the head of finance and other departments, such as customer care and collection departments. I am knowledgeable in journal entries, processing billing adjustments and refunds, reconciling account balances, ensuring that invoices and purchase order details are correct, invoice creation, and payment follow-up.
