Profile Description

Greetings! My name is Thea, a 25 year old with a Master’s Degree in Physics Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education.

At present, I work full time as a public high school teacher, creating lesson plans and various instructional materials (PowerPoint presentations, flashcards, etc.), evaluating students’ performances, and teaching content within and beyond my field of expertise. Despite my specialization in the sciences, I have also been made to teach the languages and technical/livelihood education, and in doing so, discovered that I enjoyed the opportunity to explore concepts previously unfamiliar to me. 

Among the ancillary tasks I've willingly accepted was managing our school's social media page where I was in charge of posting relevant school announcements, program/project activities, and other information. My graphic design skills were also practiced and honed as I had also designed the visual materials posted in the school's page. You may see some of my works through the links below:

The previous year, I worked full time as a Tertiary Professor in a private university. While employed there, I was also given the position as our department’s Research Coordinator, given my background in thesis writing as a requirement for my Master’s Degree. As research coordinator, I made monthly progress reports of every single one of our department’s research projects, while also working on my own research. At the same time, I was also our department’s Practicum Coordinator for two semesters. As practicum coordinator, I wrote correspondences and letters of communication as well as prepared several memorandums of agreement with host training establishments to ensure the smooth deployment and immersion of our interns. 

Apart from my professional work experiences, I have also ventured into business and entrepreneurship together with some friends from college. While we never fully committed to said business, I am proud of the marketing we had done on social media to promote our business at that time.
