Project Management Professional (PMP)®

I became engaged in the project management world way back 2020. I started as a Project Monitoring Engineer for nine projects (fiber optic cable implementation), which helped me gain better understanding of the waterfall methodology. From awarding of the project, to design and survey, permits, construction and installation, closing, and until billing of the projects, I am involved. I constantly communicate with Site Engineers and Project Managers to track the project progress and to determine whether the sites are are ready for acceptance. I have a monthly target of Php50,000,000 for client billing and invoice, ensuring continuous cash flow to the business unit. Afterwards, I became engaged with agile project methodology when I became a technical writing engineer as I work thru web development and design of a Technical Knowledge Online platform of the company. Even I only stayed in the company for 8months, I grasp the essence of agile and was also able to lead some daily huddles, sprint reviews and retrospectives as I have handled a major development of a page for product root cause analysis. After these experiences, I became a project manager for business projects and now for technology projects. I effectively lead multiple projects as part of Project Management Global Hub extension in the Philippines. I support projects including technology upgrades, web enhancements, engineering, and procurement for global security and information technology initiatives. I successfully oversee initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure processes and proactively establishes key relationships to manages resources, I ensure cohesive alignment across cross-functional teams, contributing to the effective execution of projects in line with organizational goals, while also managing project financials, status reporting, procurement, and stakeholder meetings.

I was able to create standard operating procedures and templates for subcontractor billing in my previous role as a project monitoring engineer which helped the optimized the billing process. Also, when I became a Technical Writer for a company's global Technical Knowledge Online platform used by Customer and Field Engineers who services and assists clients I write, format, edit and review proof procedural and technical information and specifications regarding the products including software, firmware and systems engineering, field alerts, technical bulletins, parts, manuals, firmware updates, installation and troubleshooting guidelines and procedures. I also gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality. Now, as a project manager, I always ensure that all necessary documentations are compiled in a single repository for future references and for good governance. Documentation is essential as it has always been a part of our lives, which helps us look back to see both good and bad, and see our way forward and visualize our path.
