As a college student, I have had the unique opportunity to gain experience in the world of advertising and marketing design. It all started back in 2021, when the COVID-19 pandemic brought about strict lockdown measures, and many individuals were forced to pivot their businesses to online platforms. Seeing the potential for growth and success in this new frontier, I too decided to start my own online business. As an entrepreneur, I quickly learned that standing out in a sea of online vendors was no easy task. I knew that I needed to differentiate myself from the competition in order to capture the attention of potential buyers. This led me to brainstorm and experiment with a variety of creative and innovative marketing strategies. Through trial and error, I discovered that a strong emphasis on visual design and aesthetics was key to engaging with my target audience. I spent countless hours researching and experimenting with various design elements, from color schemes and typography to layouts and graphics. Looking back on my journey, I am grateful for the opportunity to have honed my skills and gained valuable experience in the field of advertising and marketing design. Film editing has been an integral part of my life ever since I was in high school. I vividly remember the first time I got my hands on a video editing software, it was like a magical wand that could transform raw footage into a stunning cinematic masterpiece. As a young adult, I would spend hours sitting in front of my computer, meticulously trimming and merging clips, color grading, adding special effects, and finally, exporting my final product. In college, some of our subjects required us to create video projects as part of our coursework, and I quickly realized that I had an upper hand over my peers due to my experience in film editing. My previous knowledge allowed me to quickly grasp the concepts taught in class and produce high-quality videos that garnered praise from my professors and classmates alike. My journey with film editing has been nothing short of a thrilling adventure. It has allowed me to express my creativity and passion for storytelling, while also providing me with practical skills that have proven to be invaluable in both my academic and professional pursuits.
