"Content is king!"
You might’ve read that locution from one of the digital marketing experts you follow on LinkedIn. At some point in digital marketing history, it was true, but this king had long been deposed from his throne.
Now, sitting atop the high chair is “context.” Content is nothing without clear and strong context, and that’s the plague infecting the digital world today. Brands are mass-producing substandard, bland, and directionless content, hoping to rank higher in SERPs.
Brands treading down this road crash and burn. You don’t have to take the same path to gain measly attention from low-quality leads. Crafting meaningful content doesn’t have to burn you out; let’s make context the pivotal force behind your words.
