I landed a remote job for an accounting firm that caters accounting services to clients. I worked as a bookkeeper, I do clearing of bank feeds account categorization, account reconciliations, analyze accounts so as to determine double entries, and or errors in the financial data. Aside from these, we also have to deal with IRS issues being issued to clients like when it comes to payroll taxes and the 1099’s of contractors. I ensure timely reporting of financial records which we do on a monthly basis. I have knowledge in accounting softwares using quickbooks online and desktop, excel, google spreadheets, Navision, great plains, myob and oracle. I value accuracy, efficiency and confidentiality, as I know that accounting work entails dealing with numbers so you need to be more keen to details, so as to provide accurate reporting that will help the company make sound decisions In terms of their finances. Why is this role perfect for me because it perfectly aligns with my skills and my experiences. My work experiences have equipped me not just with accounting knowledge but also much needed professional attitude like being keen to details, being analytical, being efficient, reliable, I was able to developed within me the mindset of setting my priorities so I can deliver reports on time with accuracy.
